TNT Winter Kick off

Today Lauren and I went to the TNT winter season kickoff. So great to see so many eager participants. It was nice to finally meet G, he was Doug's first contact when Doug was just diagonosed. G and Doug both had CML and I think G had his transplant about a year ago. He looked good and is doing well. Thank you G for sharing your story.
I'm thinking of doing the Disney Half Marathon on January 8th in honor of Doug. This is the event he missed because he fell out of remission last year and the event took place on one of the coldest days ever in Florida history. Anyone interested in doing it with me? I know its going to be a lot warmer (has to be) than this past January so don't let the weather scare you. Again, right now it's just a thought and training starts Monday the 16th!!!

I'm doing both events on Disney weekend, and plan to take it easy for the half, so if you're OK with going a little slower for the half, I'll stick with you on the course! Of course, there were so many nice people there, we're certain to have quite a few new friends by then too. I hope to see you at training on Saturday if you can make it!
